Mary had her calf yesterday morning. The calf is small and she looks like her niece Tess. This morning our Dad milked Mary. (picture of a jersey calf)

Happy/ Sad
Two weeks ago one of our chickens had three little chicks. Now we have one chick left.We do not know what got the other chicks but we think cats ate them.

Milking
Alexandria our cow that had her calf early so she has to get milked now but we all have to get her in the stanchion because we never trained her but we are making good progress on training her.

A LOT OF FOOD
We get a lot of food from our friends they give us the food from the stores that
can't be sold every week. we give the food that has gone bad too the chickens and we eat the good food.The cows get the the apples that we cut up for them and watermelon that has gone bad.We sort through a lot of food but I thick it is worth it.We get about ten boxes of food that we sort.

About the Chickens
The chickens lay more than two dozen eggs a day. They wander around the yard. The big rooster is mean but when we show that we are the boss he is scared of us. We sell eggs for a $1.50.Green, brown, and white.
